Joseph is a native son to Santa Fe. Born and raised in the “City Different”, he has seen a vast amount of change. “And by far I believe most of it has been for the better. There are a few things I miss about the ‘old days’ – like during the holiday season when everyone used to shop at the stores on the Plaza instead of the malls (what malls?). Santa Fe truly had that ‘small town’ feeling.”

Upon his return to Santa Fe from Las Cruces, where he attended New Mexico State University, Joseph worked for the State of New Mexico with the First Judicial District Court. But ever since his freshman year at NMSU, he has been interested in real estate – taking classes, reading books, listening to tapes, along with trying to convince his dad to buy a home there. (“Not that I had anything against the dorms!”) So when the opportunity presented itself in 1993, Joseph decided to get his real estate license. “I think what attracted me to real estate was the variety, the potential and the idea that a real estate profession is virtually like running your own business. It is a great feeling to have a client, whether it be an acquaintance or a complete stranger, and successfully guide them through the purchase or sale of their home. A home, if it is not the most important possession someone can have it is certainly the second most important, and clients count on you to make this often stressful transaction as effective and smooth as possible.

It is with this in mind that I strive to give each and every client the best possible service I can.
